Darly joined NXTP in 2018 and currently serves as Managing Partner at the fund, responsible for new investments and portfolio companies across Latin America and globally. Darly has served as a director in over 27 companies across stages during his investing career, and led the fund’s investments in Cobli, Kangu, Spline, Arquivei, Inventa, Strike Security, Prima, JAI, Aloi, Endless.io, Curseduca, and Cargo Sapiens. He also co-led the fund’s investments in Barte, Teachy, Capim, Vixtra, Securitize, Axenya, and Turbotime.io, and has been involved in numerous other fund investments including Auth0/Okta, NuvemShop, VU Security, CargoX/Frete, Pomelo, Mural, Betterfly, Flexza, and Nuvia. Darly covers the fund’s investments across numerous B2B technology categories, including enterprise software and AI, developer platforms, cloud and infrastructure, cyber security, vertical software, data platforms & ML, information services, prosumer & product-led-growth, e-commerce, B2B platforms and marketplaces, logistics, tech-enabled business services, fintech, and payments. Prior to joining NXTP in 2018, Darly was with Warburg Pincus in New York, covering growth technology investments in the U.S. and globally, and before that with J.P. Morgan in New York, covering mergers and acquisitions across fintech, payments, banks, and specialty finance. Darly holds a B.A. with high distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada.
Alex Busse is a Partner at NXTP Ventures. Alex is responsible for evaluating, structuring and executing investments as well as supporting portfolio companies for NXTP’s second fund. Prior to NXTP, Alex worked in various investment funds and financial institutions and most recently worked at New York-based private equity fund, Conduit Capital, investing controlling stakes in private companies across Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a BA from Tufts University in Boston and a master’s degree from Columbia University in New York.
Ariel is a founding partner at NXTP Ventures. Prior to NXTP, Ariel cofounded several startups starting in 1999. In 2003, he co-founded Digital Ventures and InZearch and grew the business to become one of the leading Ad Networks in Latin America. Both companies were acquired in July 2007 by Fox International Channels, a News Corp. company (NASDAQ:NWS). Post-acquisition, Ariel not only focused on the successful integration of the operation, but he also helped shape the international expansion strategy for the ad network (now rebranded as .Fox Networks), increasing revenue four-fold and significantly expanded its global operation from 3 offices in Latin America to 21 offices spread across 4 Continents. He is a Kauffman Fellow class18, and an HBS OPM Class 41 member.
Gonzalo is a Founding Partner at NXTP Ventures. Prior to NXTP, Gonzalo worked at Santander Investment and GE Capital, both in New York and Argentina, where he was involved in private investments, mergers, and acquisitions. He was also a Managing Director at Endeavor Argentina, a U.S.-based non-profit that fosters entrepreneurship in emerging markets. He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (2001), where he co-founded and co-led the Latin American Student Association.
Marta is a founding partner at NXTP Ventures. Prior to NXTP, Marta worked at Siemens, UNDP and McCann Erickson Group as Regional Director for Latin America. She is a Partner at WeXchange, an initiative led by the IDB Lab, and a co-founder of WeInvest, the community of women investors focusing in Latin America and the Caribbean. She also is an active member of UN Women, and was the first woman president of ARCAP, the Argentine Association of Private Equity, Venture and Seed Capital. She holds a degree in Business Administration granted by the University of Buenos Aires and also holds a PhD in Management from IAE.
Bruno Dalapria is a Principal at NXTP Ventures, having joined the fund in 2021. He is responsible for prospecting, evaluating, and executing new investments as well as supporting portfolio companies. Prior to NXTP, Bruno was a Head of Business Development at Bcredi, LatAm leading home-equity platform acquired by Creditas. Bruno invested in Bcredi, among other startups, while he was working as an Associate at Igah Ventures, a LatAm VC firm. He was also a private equity professional and an entrepreneur early in his career. Bruno holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration from FGV-EAESP in Brazil.
Lorena Deolino is a Senior Investment Analyst at NXTP. She supports the team in sourcing and diligencing new investments for the fund, while also contributing to value creation initiatives for portfolio companies. Prior to NXTP, she worked at several investment firms, including BTG Pactual, SoftBank and, most recently, Patria Investments (NASDAQ: PAX), the largest private equity firm in Latin America. Lorena holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP.
Gustavo Nunez is an Analyst at NXTP Ventures, where he joined in 2024. He is involved in sourcing, analyzing, and supporting investments across Latin America. Before joining NXTP, Gustavo worked as a Private Equity Analyst at Patria Investments, one of the region’s largest alternative asset managers, from 2021 to 2024. Gustavo holds a law degree from FGV - EDESP and completed an academic exchange at Université Paris Dauphine – PSL.
Diego Vargas is an Analyst at NXTP Ventures, where he focuses on sourcing, analyzing, and supporting early-stage investments across Latin America. Prior to NXTP, Diego was part of the Investment Banking team at Bank of America, where he worked on M&A advisory for clients across various industries. He then joined SailPoint’s Strategy & GTM team, contributing to the company’s expansion in Latin America and supporting M&A integration efforts during its pre-IPO phase. Diego holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
Eduardo worked at BankBoston for almost 20 years, managing financial risks, where he eventually became CEO of 1784 Mutual Funds. He drove that business to be the second most profitable for BankBoston in Argentina with an asset portfolio of over U$1 billion. He worked independently and in various financial He is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Buenos Aires, and a PDD from the IAE Business School.
Verónica worked in various well known Law firms in Buenos Aires, the most recent being as a Senior Attorney at Wiener Soto Caparros. Before that she also worked as a Senior Attorney at PwC. She holds a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a master's degree in law and economics from the Torcuato Di Tella University.
